KXC Worship and Folabi Nuel Release New Easter Anthem 'Forever We Will Thank You For The Cross'
KXC Worship, in collaboration with worship leader and songwriter Folabi Nuel, announce the release of a powerful new worship anthem: 'Forever We Will Thank You For The Cross.' Rooted in the Easter story, the song captures the pain, sacrifice, victory, and everlasting hope revealed in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
“Forever We Will Thank You For The Cross” is a congregational worship anthem that leads listeners through the journey of Christ’s suffering - His crown of thorns, the shame of the cross, and the darkness of the grave - before rising into triumphant praise for His resurrection and victory over death. Through vivid storytelling and heartfelt worship moments, the song invites believers to pause, reflect, and respond in gratitude for the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus.
The song was written by Folabi together with songwriter Jemimah Paine and KXC’s Rich di Castiglione. This studio single (produced by Josh Fraser) follows KXC’s latest live EP - ‘Worthy is the Lord’.
Written with Sunday congregations in mind, “Forever We Will Thank You For The Cross” features accessible lyrics, a singable melody, and a timeless message that points the church back to the very center of the Christian faith - the cross and the empty tomb.
