The Ezra Worship Initiative returns with a powerful new worship anthem, “Great and Glorious God,” releasing May 29, 2026, through NCS Records in partnership with NRT Music. Featuring The Calvin University Gospel Choir and guest vocalist Anne Elise Sherrod, the new single serves as the first release from the group’s upcoming 4-track EP arriving July 24, 2026. Written by John Chisum, George Godwin, Anne Elise Sherrod, and Chris Springer, “Great and Glorious God” blends modern congregational worship with the timeless richness of hymn-like theology. Opening with vivid imagery of creation proclaiming God’s glory, the song invites listeners into a reverent response of worship as heaven and earth unite in praise. Anchored by the soaring chorus–“Great and glorious God / Father, Spirit, Son / Holy, three in one”–the anthem offers churches a bold yet deeply singable declaration rooted in the wonder of the Trinity.
