Bellarive To Release Debut Album 'The Heartbeat' After Signing With Sparrow Records
Six-piece worship band Bellarive have signed with Sparrow Records ahead of their debut album release, 'The Heartbeat', on 19th June 2012. The album was co-produced by Bellarive and Joshua Silverberg (Luminate, Abandon) and mixed by Allen Salmon (Gungor, Building 429).
"We were leading worship a lot together but hadn't really looked past that," expresses Sean Curran, the band's principal songwriter and lead vocalist. "God started placing these song ideas on our hearts so we started meeting up once a week just to kind of figure out what we should do with this."
Soon after recording an EP, 'The Being Human Project... Start Listening' Bellarive, meaning "beautiful river", signed a deal with Sparrow Records. "We were resonating with our friends from Sparrow because it seemed they wanted to partner with us for the right reasons," Curran continues. "They saw God in what we were doing, and they wanted to be a catalyst for that work."
