'God's Not Dead' Movie Soundtrack To Feature Newsboys, Superchick, Jimmy Needham, Stellar Kart

Feb 19 2014

Inpop Records will provide the soundtrack to one of this year's most anticipated new films, Pure Flix Entertainment's 'God's Not Dead'. The CD, featuring tracks from Newsboys, Superchick, JJ Weeks Band, Jimmy Needham, Stellar Kart, and Tricia, among others, releases on 4th March 2014.

Taking its name from award-winning group Newsboys' hit single 'God's Not Dead', the Pure Flix movie follows college freshman Josh Wheaton who is challenged by his atheist philosophy professor to provide evidence of God's existence to his skeptical classmates.

The film, in approximately 600 theatres nationwide from 21st March, boasts an all-star cast including Kevin Sorbo (Soul Surfer, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys), Shane Harper (High School Musical 2, Flipped), David A.R. White (Six: The Mark Unleashed) and Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman), with special appearances by Newsboys, and Willie and Korie Robertson of the smash TV series Duck Dynasty.

Supporting the impressive cast is an equally talented music line-up. The project's debut single, from popular actor/artist Shane Harper, is 'Hold You Up'. Additional singles 'This is The Time' and 'What I Know' are to follow.
