Louder Than The Music

Singer/songwriter Jonny Shepherd will release his new five track worship EP 'Wake Up' on 31st May 2014.

The EP is described as a "diverse blend of electronica and rock, this worship recording will challenge and encourage you through the pounding beats, the ambient moments and creative textures, to wake up your soul to Christ, and stir up the love that's deep below."

Discussing the new release, Jonny says, "Radically different from anything I've released previously, it blends elements of dance, pop and rock music to provide something really unique and creative. I'm incredibly excited about this one!"

All five tracks were written, recorded and produced by Jonny Shepherd, with additional production and mixing by Matt Cotterill. The EP is available now from Jonny's Bandcamp page.

Jonny has been leading worship since 1996, and led the worship team at Rugby Christian Life Centre for around 10 years. Through that time he's led worship for a range of events including those organised by Youth For Christ and Fresh Fire UK and also led for the Jesus Culture England 2006 conference. He now attends New Life Church in Rugby.

Following two self-produced albums, 'Honestly' and 'New Day', he released two albums in 2012, the well received 'The Sun & The Satellites' and a children's worship album called 'Raise Your Voices'.
